Fantastic Voyage Movie

Fantastic Voyage Movie20th Century Fox is planning to produce a remake of the Fantastic Voyage, the 1961 classic science-fiction movie. James Cameron (the director behind Terminator and Avatar) is attached to the film as producer through his company Lightstorm Entertainment: the new Fantastic Voyage movie will employ the same 3D technology Cameron used for Avatar. Director Paul Greengrass was in talk to direct, but nothing concrete has been announced. The Fantastic Voyage is listed for a 2013 release by IMDb.

Plot:
"A scientist with a potentially fatal health problem takes a risk on his only chance of survival: a team his colleagues will be miniaturized in a ship and injected into his bloodstream. The story will follow the biological adventures the team encounters in trying to save the scientist and themselves."

Here's the movie of the Fantastic Voyage, the original movie:

FANTASTIC VOYAGE TRAILER

The original Fantastic Voyage was for sure a thrilling sci-fi movie when it was first released in the 1960s. It still looks good, but there's no denying that those special effects now look kind of dated. So I definitely welcome Fox's plan to bring a remake.

With the latest technologies and in 3D the Fantastic Voyage is going to be a hell of a movie!
